Day 1: Arequipa to Chivay

• Morning: Depart Arequipa and drive through the stunning scenery of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas.

• Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch at the house of your host family in Coporaque.

• Afternoon: Relax in the thermal hot springs or take a short hike to the nearby sites.

Day 2: Colca Canyon Hike (Canocota) - La Calera

• Morning: Depart Chivay for a 40-min drive to Canocota, a small village nestled in the Colca Canyon.

• Hike: Begin your 3-hour hike from Canocota, descending into the canyon along a steep, winding trail. The views of the towering cliffs and lush vegetation are simply stunning. You will have the chance of enjoying the thermal hot springs of La Calera at the end of the hike. 

• Lunch: Enjoy a traditional lunch in the Coporaque, prepared by your host family.

• Afternoon: spend the afternoon with your host family, learning about their customs and traditions. Or simply rest after the morning hike.

Day 3: Cruz del Condor - End of tour

• Early morning:  Say "Good Bye" to the family and embark on scenic drive to Cruz del Condor, place where can see these majestic birds gliding around. As well, you will get great views of the Colca Canyon.

• Lunch: Enjoy a final lunch in Colca before departing for Arequipa or going to Puno

• Afternoon: Drive back to Arequipa or Puno, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
