Day 1: Meeting in Lima

Welcome to Lima! Upon arrival, our team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Miraflores. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the vibrant neighborhood, relaxing by the coast, or indulging in delicious Peruvian cuisine. 

Day 2: Lima - Cusco 

Soar through the Andes on a morning flight from Lima to the historic city of Cusco. Upon arrival, embark on a captivating city tour, exploring iconic sites such as the impressive Sacsayhuaman fortress and the enigmatic Tambomachay, once a sacred Inca water temple. Immerse yourself in the rich history and stunning architecture of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. 

Day 3: Sacred valley - Ollantaytambo

Discover the enchanting Sacred Valley, a fertile oasis nestled amidst the Andes Mountains. Explore the charming villages of Pisac and Urubamba, renowned for their vibrant markets and traditional handicrafts. Marvel at the impressive Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo, a well-preserved fortress with stunning stonework. Immerse yourself in the rich history and breathtaking landscapes of this sacred region. 

Day 4: Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

Board the scenic train from Ollantaytambo to the enchanting town of Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely afternoon to explore the charming town, indulge in local cuisine, or simply relax and prepare for the next day's adventure. 

OPTIONAL: Embark on your Inca Trail adventure with an early morning train journey from Ollantaytambo to Kilometer 104. Begin your hike through lush cloud forests, encountering stunning archaeological sites like Chachabamba. Ascend to the breathtaking Wiñay Wayna ruins, marveling at the intricate stonework and panoramic views. Continue your journey to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), where you'll be rewarded with a spectacular first glimpse of Machu Picchu. Descend to Aguas Calientes and relax for the evening. 

Day 5: MachuPicchu - Cusco

Rise early to catch the first bus to Machu Picchu. Immerse yourself in the ancient wonder, guided by an expert tour leader. Explore iconic sites like the Main Plaza, the Intihuatana, and the Temple of the Sun. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes and board the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, transfer to Cusco and check into your hotel. 

Day 6: Day off in Cusco

Spend a day exploring the enchanting city of Cusco. Wander through the historic center, marvel at the stunning Plaza de Armas, and visit the iconic Koricancha, once a revered Inca temple. Immerse yourself in the vibrant local markets, savor delicious Peruvian cuisine, and experience the warm hospitality of the Andean people.  

Day 7: Cusco - Rainbow Mountain - Cusco

Embark on a breathtaking adventure to Vinicunca, the iconic Rainbow Mountain. Our early morning departure at 4 AM ensures optimal viewing conditions. Ascend through stunning Andean landscapes, witnessing dramatic color shifts as you gain altitude. Reach the summit and be rewarded with panoramic views of the mountain's vibrant stripes. Our experienced guides will provide insights into the geological wonders and local culture. 

Day 8: Cusco - Lima

Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring the charming streets of Cusco. Visit local markets, indulge in delicious Peruvian cuisine, or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima, carrying unforgettable memories of your Peruvian adventure.
It is possible to add extra nights in Lima or a night at the airport hotel if your international flight is at night or very early the day after.
