08:30 AM – Departure from Arequipa We pick you up from your hotel for a scenic 45-minute drive toward the east, reaching the traditional village of Chiguata.
09:15 AM – Chiguata Colonial Village We start with a brief visit to the historic main plaza and the unique church, known for its beautiful stone carvings.
09:45 AM – The Agricultural Trek The hike begins along the ancient paths used by local farmers. We will walk through the terraces (andenes), observing seasonal crops like potatoes, corn, and broad beans. Your guide will explain the traditional irrigation systems still in use today.
11:00 AM – Volcano Viewpoint We reach a natural lookout point that offers a perfect panoramic view of the Misti volcano rising directly above the green fields. A perfect spot for a short break and photos.
12:00 PM – Return to the Village & Transfer We complete our loop back to the village, where our transport will be waiting.
01:00 PM – Arrival in Arequipa Drop off at your hotel, just in time for lunch in the city.
