09:00 AM (or 02:00 PM) – The Desert Escape
We pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa. A short drive takes us out of the city and into the heart of the coastal desert, where the landscape shifts from city streets to rolling dunes.
10:00 AM – Gear Up & Basics
We arrive at the dunes. Your guide will give you a quick "Sandboarding 101" class. We cover safety, how to stand, how to sit (if you prefer a calmer ride), and, most importantly, how to stop!
10:20 AM – Let the Shredding Begin!
Time to hit the slopes. We’ll start with smaller, beginner-friendly dunes to build your confidence. As you get the hang of it, you can move to bigger hills for more speed and longer slides.
12:00 PM – Sunset/Desert Chill
We take a break to enjoy the silence of the desert, grab some water/snacks, and capture those perfect "action-hero" shots against the volcano skyline.
12:30 PM – Head Back to Town
We return to Arequipa, leaving you refreshed, sandy, and ready for your next adventure.
