Part I: The Pacific Coast & Desert Wonders
Day 1: Arrival in Lima – The Gateway to Peru
Welcome to the Capital of the Vice-royalty. Upon arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport, our private representative will assist you and provide a smooth transfer to your boutique hotel in the vibrant Miraflores district.
Day 2: Coastal Adventure: Pisco, Vineyards & Dune Buggies
We head south to Ica. Experience a private tour of a traditional vineyard to learn the secrets of Peruvian Pisco. After a gourmet local lunch, we head to the Huacachina Oasis for an exhilarating 4x4 dune buggy ride through the desert at sunset. Overnight in Paracas.
Day 3: Wildlife Encounters & Flight to the White City
Embark on a private speedboat to the Ballestas Islands to observe penguins, sea lions, and thousands of marine birds. In the afternoon, we return to Lima for your domestic flight to Arequipa.
Part II: The Andes & The Great Abyss
Day 4: Arequipa: Volcanoes & Colonial Splendor
A curated walking tour through Arequipa’s "Sillar" (white volcanic stone) streets. We visit the stunning Santa Catalina Monastery, a city within a city, and the Yanahuara viewpoint for a panoramic shot of Misti Volcano.
Day 5: The High Altiplano Journey to Colca
We ascend toward the Colca Valley, crossing the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve. Spot wild vicuñas and alpacas in their natural habitat. Reach the highest point at Patapampa (4,910m) before descending to your lodge.
Day 6: Condors in Flight & Volcanic Springs
An early start to reach Cruz del Condor. Witness the majestic Andean Condor soaring on thermal currents over the world's deepest canyon. The afternoon is yours to relax in the volcanic hot springs of Chivay.
Part III: The Sacred Waters & The Incan Heartland
Day 7: Across the Altiplano to Puno
A scenic private drive across the high plateau. We stop at Lagunillas, a serene lake at 4,400m, home to Andean flamingos. Arrival in Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
Day 8: Lake Titicaca: The Floating Worlds of Uros & Taquile
A full day on the highest navigable lake in the world. Visit the unique Uros floating islands made entirely of totora reeds. Continue to Taquile Island, famous for its UNESCO-protected textile art and Mediterranean-like vistas.
Day 9: The Route of the Sun to Cusco
Travel toward the Incan Capital. This journey offers breathtaking views of the Vilcanota mountain range. Upon arrival in Cusco, we transfer you to your hotel to acclimatize with some coca tea.
Part IV: The Empire of the Sun
Day 10: Sacred Valley: Ancient Fortresses & Local Markets
Explore the architectural wonders of Sacsayhuaman and the water temples of Tambomachay. Visit the colorful Pisac market and its terraced ruins before taking the train to Aguas Calientes.
Day 11: Machu Picchu: The Sanctuary in the Clouds
The highlight of the journey. A private, guided tour of the Machu Picchu Citadel. Discover the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Royal Quarters. In the afternoon, return to the Sacred Valley for a restful night.
Day 12: Ollantaytambo & The Living Inca City
Visit the massive fortress of Ollantaytambo, a masterpiece of Incan engineering. We then drive back to Cusco, leaving the afternoon free for you to explore the San Blas artisan quarter.
Day 13: Final Morning in Cusco & Return Home
Enjoy a final Peruvian breakfast before your flight to Lima. Depending on your international schedule, we can arrange a private tour of Lima's historic center or a world-class gastronomic experience before your departure.
