Day 1: The Volcanoes' Pass & Thermal Flow
We drop from Patapampa (4,910m) on a massive descent toward Chivay.
After a local lunch, we enjoy a scenic ride through rural tracks leading directly to the thermal baths, the perfect way to prep the body for the days ahead.
Day 2: The Condor’s Rim & The Descent to Pallqa
We witness the Condors at the "Cruz del Condor" before pedaling toward Cabanaconde.
The Challenge: From the rim, we start a technical and exhilarating descent to Pallqa/Llahuar. This is pure "gravity" on ancient paths until we reach the bottom of the canyon to sleep near the river and natural hot springs.
Day 3: The Huambo Frontier & Desert Return
We climb out of the canyon by vehicle to a strategic high point.
The Final Push: A spectacular descent toward Huambo, crossing the transition from the green valley to the volcanic desert.
We finish the loop returning to Arequipa via El Pedregal, completing a massive 3-day circuit that very few travelers ever see.
